SAMANTHA HARRIS BARTHOLOMEW (Rachel) graduated in 2003 from Santa Clara University with a B.A. in Theatre Arts.  Some of her previous roles include: Apostle Bartholomew (Jesus Christ Superstar),Rose (Wise Women), The Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods), Audrey (As You Like It), Nimue (Camelot), and Narrator (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat).

DAN BERNSTEIN (Moses Zook) returns to 42nd Street Moon after nearly a seven-year absence.  He studied for seven years at the New Conservatory Theatre Center under the direction of Dyan McBride, also an alumna of 42nd Street Moon.  He was previously seen in our productions of The Grass Harp, Babes in Arms, and Dear WorldPlain and Fancy marks Dan’s fourth show with 42nd Street Moon.

AMY LOUISE COLE (Ruth Winters) has been performing with 42nd Street Moon for almost a decade.  Favorite roles include Dolores in Babes In Arms, Lorelei Lee in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and the tap dancing Lottie in last season’s Mack & Mabel, to name just a few.  When not performing, directing, designing, or teaching theater to the next generation, Ms. Cole runs El Gato Del Diablo Theatre Company with partner Shawn Ferreyra (www.elgatotheatre.org).

BRANDY COLLAZO (Hilda Miller) is proud to be back at Moon where some of her favorite people frequent!  Ms. Collazo most recently portrayed Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie with the Diablo Light Opera Company, and select additional credits include: Hope Cladwell (Urinetown,) Anybodys (West Side Story,) and Dulcie (The Boyfriend).  She has danced in productions such as The Music Man, Can Can, and Evita; served as Dance Captain for Joseph…Dreamcoat, Red, Hot, and Blue!, and Gypsy.  Additionally a voiceover artist, Brandy's voice can be heard on many video games.

MARK CORNELIUS (Papa Yoder) is making his debut at 42nd Street Moon in Plain and Fancy.  Most recently, he appeared in Seussical the Musical, Little Women the Musical, and Quadrille at Crossroads Theatre in Walnut Creek.  A graduate of the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), his previous credits include musicals onboard the Royal Cruise Lines, operas with the Columbus (Ohio) and Boston Symphony Orchestras, and various plays and musicals in the Bay Area.

KATHLEEN DEDERIAN (Sarah/Carnival Floozie) returns to 42nd Street Moon, where she last appeared in Miss Liberty during our 2005-06 season.  Favorite roles on the Moon stage include Luce (Boys FromSyracuse), ditzy maid Maizie (Cat and the Fiddle) and KGB agent Kostya (Leave It To Me!).  Other favorites include Pitti-Sing in Mikado (Lamplighters), Germaine in Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Hillbarn), Sarah in Company (Masquers), and Emma Goldman in Ragtime (Woodminster).  Next is Hair at Marin’s Mountain Play this summer.

VINCE FASO (Jacob Yoder) is a 2005 graduate of the University of San Francisco (USF), where he majored in Performing Arts and Social Justice.  During his studies, Mr. Faso was best known for his portrayals of Clive and Cathy in Carol Churchill's Cloud 9, as well as Jess in The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspr (abridged), Vinnie Di Ruzzio in the musical Lucky Stiff and most recently Jerry in Edward Albee's The Zoo Story.  He currently teaches drama at a middle school in Oakland.

DARRIN GLESSER (Peter Reber) was last seen playing Willy in 42nd Street Moon’s Flora the Red Menace.  He recently portrayed Jonathan Larson, in Tick, Tick…Boom! at Busbarn Stage Company and also performed a year and a half run in Steve Silver’s Beach Blanket Babylon.  Other regional theater credits include:  Mr. McQueen in Urinetown (San Jose Stage Company), On the Twentieth Century, where he won a Ginny Award (American Musical Theatre of San Jose), Buck Wiley in Memphis (TheatreWorks), and lead trumpet for Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story (Post Street Theatre).  www.darringlesser.com

LUA HADAR (Emma Miller) performed last fall in Moon’s production of Pardon My English.  She has sung her way across North America and Europe, both as a soloist and with The Kitchenettes vocal trio.  Ms. Hadar received kudos for her CD, It’s about Time, from Talkinbroadway.com, and her solo cabaret show garnered the critics’ praise throughout San Francisco and Los Angeles.  She trained at New York’s Neighborhood Playhouse and in master classes at the Metropolitan Opera.  Her unique, fun, “Jazz Without Borders” has played to sold out rooms at Anna’s Jazz Island, with the Jason Martineau Trio.  www.luahadar.com

GRANT “BUZZ” HALSING (Isaac Miller), making his 42nd Street Moon debut, has been recently seen at the Mountain Play as Fyedka (Fiddler on the Roof) and at the Novato Theater Co. as Bertram Cates (Inherit the Wind).  Look for Buzz in the upcoming world premiere of Thunderbabe, the Musical, opening in May in San Jose.  He also starred in and produced the musical comedy, For Whom the Bridge Tolls, and has directed six musicals in the last five years.

ALEXANDRA KAPRIELIAN (Katie Yoder) returns to 42nd Street Moon, where she was last seen in our spring 2006 gala at the Alcazar Theatre.  Most recently she performed in Woodminster’s productions of Beauty and The Beast (Babette) and Ragtime (Evelyn Nesbit).  Other credits include: Broadway by the Bay, Peninsula Civic Light Opera, and Palo Alto Players.  She also is featured on fellow Moonie Russ Lorenson’s CD What I Want For Christmas and 42nd Street Moon's First Rose Of Summer.  You can check out some of her voiceover work for shockwave.com as Cassi in "Cassi: Earth Girl On Campus."

CHRIS MACOMBER (Bessie) returned to singing several years ago after a long federal government career.  With 42nd Street Moon she has portrayed Madame Roberta in Roberta, Gladys Cooley in Fifty Million Frenchmen (Dean Goodman Choice Award), Mrs. McNish in Minnie’s Boys, the Countess in Miss Liberty and Mrs. Preston et al in Pardon My English.  At Lamplighters, Ms. Macomber has sung “old dame” roles in Showboat, Patience, Mikado, and more.  She recently appeared in her first play, Twelfth Night, as Malvolio with Woman’s Will.  She is also a violinist in the Exeter String Quartet.

BILL OLSON (Dan King) is making his debut at 42nd St Moon, but is a veteran performer with other theaters throughout the Bay Area including:  Marin Shakespeare, New Conservatory Theatre, Bus Barn Stage Company, City Lights, and extensive work with Lunatique Fantastique, the Bay Area's premiere puppetry troupe.  Some of his favorite roles include Jim, the Gentleman Caller, in The Glass Menagerie (San Jose Stage), Milky White in Into the Woods (TheatreWorks), and Elyot in Private Lives (Palo Alto Players and Calaveras Rep).  He is also a professional juggler and teacher of the Alexander Technique.

TOM ORR (Abner Zook/Mambo Joe) is a veteran Moonie making his fourth 42nd Street Moon appearance, following roles in Mack & Mabel, Li'l Abner and Pardon My English.  An award-winning lyricist best known for his hit parody revue, Dirty Little Showtunes!, Tom has been in:  Naked Boys Singing! and Trog! at Theatre Rhino; Whoop-Dee-Doo! at New Conservatory Theatre; and Shopping! The Musical, among others.  A former theater critic for The Seattle Times, he also made his directorial debut (with co-director Tom Segal) with Simply Sondheim! A 75th Birthday Salute, now available on CD (www.kritzerland.com).

TONY PANIGHETTI (Ezra Reber) returns to 42nd Street Moon for his third show.  Mr. Panighetti has performed up and down California as well as on the high seas of Alaska, Canada, Europe, and the Bahamas with Crystal Cruise Line’s Repertory Theater at Sea.  Some of his favorite credits include:  Jerry/ Daphne in Some Like It Hot (Cabrillo Stage), Charlie Brown in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (San Pedro Square), and as Mozart in Amadeus (PCPA Theaterfest), for which he received a Backstage West Garland Award.

BOBBY WEINAPPLE (Director) has directed Pardon My English (42nd Street Moon), A Perfect Ganesh (Free Range Theatre Co.), Things You Shouldn't Say Past Midnight (Theatre Q), where he received the Dean Goodman Choice Award for Outstanding Direction and was also voted one of the “10 Best Theatre Events of 2005” by the Oakland Tribune; Falsettoland (Phoenix Theatre), Chekhov's The Duel (Central Works), Taming of the Shrew and The Tempest (SF Shakespeare Festival), Twelfth Night (Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival), Quick-Change Room (TheatreFirst); Associate Director for Noises Off (Marine’s Memorial Theatre), and Assistant Director to Richard Seyd for Beauty Queen of Leenane (Berkeley Rep).  Mr. Weinapple has also acted at most major theaters in the Bay Area, including Berkeley Rep, SF Shakes, TheatreWorks, Marin Theatre Co., A Traveling Jewish Theatre, Shotgun Players, Aurora Theatre Co., and 42nd Street Moon, in both Silk Stockings and Lady Be Good.  He is the head of the San Francisco branch of Seydways Acting Studio.

DAVE DOBRUSKY (Musical Director) has been 42nd Street Moon’s Music Director for 11 years.  Favorite productions include Mack & Mabel, The Golden Apple, Red Hot and Blue!, Minnie’s Boys, Can-Can, Finian’s Rainbow, Paint Your Wagon, By Jupiter, Leave It To Me! (recorded), Dear World, Call Me Madam, Out of This World, Girl Crazy, and Louisiana Purchase.  Other Bay Area credits include: Putting It Together (San Francisco Playhouse); The Fantasticks (Shakespeare at Stinson); The Boyfriend, Whispers on the Wind (Playhouse West); Passion, Chess (New Conservatory Theatre); Violet, Side Show (TheatreWorks); and youth productions of Titanic and Les Miserables (Musical Theatre Works).

STACI ARRIAGA (Choreographer) returns to 42nd Street Moon after having choreographed last spring’s production of Mack & Mabel.  She has been dancing for 20 years and choreographing for the last 10 years.  Ms. Arriaga’s dance routines have been seen in Solano, Contra Costa, and Sonoma Counties as well as the San Francisco Bay Area.  She has earned two Dean Goodman Awards, one Elly Award and several Arty Awards.  Some of her favorite shows she has worked on include:  Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Pirates of Penzance, Crazy For You, Annie Get Your Gun, and of course, Mack & Mabel.

AMY LOUISE COLE (Costumer) has designed costumes, built props, dressed stages and ran set crew at several Bay Area theaters including the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, Atmos Theatre, Broadway By the Bay, and of course 42nd Street Moon.  She is Managing Director of El Gato Del Diablo Theatre, where she directed their critically acclaimed production, The Legendary and Fabulous Passion Play.  www.elgatotheatre.org

SHAWN FERREYRA (Stage Manager) returns to 42nd Street Moon, where he previously stage managed Pardon My English, among others.  He has served many companies in various different administrative capacities, including publicist and director of marketing.  He has stage managed for several Bay Area companies including the ACT Conservatory and Last Planet Theatre.  Mr. Ferreyra holds a Bachelor’s in Theatre Arts from CSU Hayward.  He is the author of The Rise and Fall of the Monkey King, and The Legendary and Fabulous Passion Play

ELLEN BROOKS (Lighting Design) has designed many productions for 42nd Street Moon – including Mack & Mabel, Golden Apple, Red Hot and Blue!, Paint Your Wagon and our Galas atthe Herbst and Alcazar Theatres.  For the past seven seasons she has also designed for The Lamplighters at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, Napa Valley Opera House, Dean Lesher Center in Walnut Creek and more.  She is also the Resident Lighting Director for Marin Shakespeare Company.  Her most recent work includes Maria Muldaur's concert and video lighting for The Love Songs of Bob Dylan and A Few Good Men, directed by James Dunn
