42nd
Street Moon presents film star Leslie Caron in "I
Remember It Well," an annual gala to raise funds for the
company's season of "lost" musicals. Leslie Caron took Hollywood
by storm when Gene Kelly discovered her, a French teen-aged ballet dancer,
and chose her as his co-star in "An
American In Paris". She was given the title role in "Gigi",
and went on to star in over 70 English and French films, both musical
and dramatic, in a career that has spanned six decades.
This one-night-only, star-studded event celebrating the work of Oscar and Tony
Award winner Alan Jay Lerner will also feature performances by Davis
Gaines ("The
Phantom of the Opera"), Emmy
Award-nominated television actress Sharon
Lawrence ("NYPD
Blue," Broadway's "Chicago"),
Broadway stars Ann Morrison ("Merrily
We Roll Along"), cabaret darling Andrea
Marcovicci, and
42nd Street Moon favorites: Caroline Altman,
Dave Dobrusky, Bill Fahrner, Lesley Hamilton, Kelly Houston, Austin Ku,
Greg MacKellan, Marsha Mercant, Stephanie Rhoads,
